About BALA Foundation

BALA Foundation was founded by Ms. Preeti M. Shah 2002 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, with a vision to give back to society. Since then, we have been actively working to uphold the rights of women and children, as well as addressing critical environmental issues.

At BALA Foundation, we believe that true change begins from within. Guided by this philosophy, we work on diverse social causes in collaboration with like-minded NGOs, community-based organisations, government departments, schools, colleges, educationists, and dedicated volunteers, all striving together for a better world.

Hunar Se Kirti – Skilling Centre (HSK)

Our initiative, ‘Hunar Se Kirti – Skilling Centre’ (HSK), empowers youth, especially girls, with essential life and employability skills. We bridge gaps in soft skills, personality development, and vocational education for underprivileged communities.

HSK offers free vocational courses such as:

  • Basic Computer Course
  • Basic Beauty & Wellness Course
  • Basic Tailoring / Sketching Course

Along with soft skills classes. Professionals like Ms Asma Hussain, Ms Neha Tripathi, and Dr Amina Hussain guide our candidates with their expertise.
